We were so lucky to have Natalie Soto-Carlisle from Jane Iredale with us recently at our Spa 170 West Spring Makeup Event. Here is one of the great make-up tips she shared with us.
When applying your finishing powder, don’t forget about your under-eye area. Simply use a flat brush that you would normally use to apply eye shadow – and pat the powder down evenly under your eyes and all the way up to the bottom lash line. It will keep your concealer looking fresh during the day. And, don’t forget to use some type of setting spray – like Jane Iredale’s D2O Hydration Spray.
Simply spritz some of this on a flocked sponge and tap onto the under-eye area. This will lightly set your makeup, hydrate your skin and keep the powder from settling into any fine lines around the eyes.
The Jane Iredale “Shader Brush” would work well for this type of under-eye powder application.
